Introducing the Trapper Cabin, our newest addition to the Salmon, Idaho Greyhouse Inn Bed and Breakfast. You will love this cabin. It is truly outstanding, featuring an interior and exterior of solid wood. The main floor, about 430 SQ FT, has blue pine walls, wood floors with queen log bed, a dining area, kitchen facilities, and satellite TV. The loft has a tongue-and-groove wood floor, blue pine ceiling, and two twin beds. Perfect for the children. The loft, is approximately 200 SQ FT, is accessible by a steel spiral staircase.
The Trapper Cabin is decorated in memory of the trapper Charboneau, who travelled with the Lewis and Clark expedition along with his wife Sacajawea. If you love the history of the west you will love the Trapper Cabin. Decorated with traps, and hides, but with all the amenities of modern life. The cabin has a kitchenette with stovetop, appliances, microwave, sink and refrigerator.
Perfect for the small family, hunting/fishing party, or any group who needs a little more space. The Trapper Cabin has an outside fire-pit and grill for your enjoyment. It can be used to cook dinner and make "SMORES" for the kids or just to warm you on a coo evening.
The Trapper Cabin bath has a modern shower-tub combination and pedestal sink. The cabin has a spacious front porch, purposely situated for you to view the gorgeous Salmon River Mountains.
This building was build to copy a 20th century building as can be seen in the Montana ghost town of Bannack. It is our attempt to capture the romance of an bygone era. The surrounding grounds, about five acres, are still natural with native grasses, snd rocks and trees.
