Introducing one of our new cabins, the Trapper Cabin. You will love these cabins. They are truly outstanding, featuring interiors and exteriors of solid wood. The main floors, about 430 SQ FT, has bluepine walls, wood floors with queen log beds, a dining area, kitchen facilities, and satellite TV. The lofts have tongue-and-groove wood floors, blue pine ceilings, and two twin beds. Perfect for the children. The lofts, approximately 200 SQ FT, are accessible via steel spiral staircases.
The Trapper Cabin (shown in the back) is decorated in memory of the trapper Charboneau, that travelled with the Lewis and Clark expedition along with his wife Sacajawea. If you love the history of the west you will love the Trapper Cabin. Decorated with traps, and hides, but with all the amenities of modern life. The cabin has a kitchenette with stovetop, appliances, microwave, sink and refrigerator.
Over 637 sq ft, and a sleeping loft, this cabin has a queen bed, and two twin beds up in the loft. Perfect for the small family or hunting/fishing party or anyone wanting a little more space. The Trapper Cabin has a fire pit for setting around in the evening enjoying the stars. Also for cooking dinner and making "SMORES".
The Trapper Cabin has a modern shower-tub combination and pedestal sink. Both cabins have spacious front porches, purposely situated for you to view the gorgeous Salmon River Mountains.
These buildings were made similar to ones seen in a Montana ghost town close to our location. Grounds, about five acres, directly in front of and surrounding the cabins are still natural with native grasses, rocks and include fire-rings for your use.
Summer rates: $124 per night double occupancy, two-night minimum. Children over 2, $15 extra.
