LEWIS & CLARK HISTORICAL RAFT & DRIVE PACKAGE:

Rafting offers a chance to re-trace the steps of Lewis & Clark
in their epic journey to the Pacific. You will begin with a one day
driving tour of the Lewis & Clark Back Country Byway which takes
you to the very spot where Lewis & Clark crossed the Continental
Divide in 1805. From this vantage point, take in the scene that has
remained virtually unchanged since Lewis & Clark passed that way
almost 200 years ago. On your way back towards the township of Salmon,
you'll make several historically significant stops including a Memorial
to Sacajawea who was born in this valley.

The next day you can choose one of the following
options.
Option 1: Follow Clark's reconnaissance trip with a scenic float
down the Salmon River to the point that changed history: the
canyon that forced the expedition on a grand detour to the North.
Ideal for all ages and abilities.
Option 2: For the more adventurous, explore the canyon beyond;
see what Lewis & Clark missed, and raft the mighty Salmon's
Class II & Class III white water.
Price includes 1 day drive, 1 day raft, 3 nights lodging at
the Greyhouse Inn Bed & Breakfast and all meals from dinner
night one to breakfast before you leave.

RAFT & RIDE PACKAGE: Available June-September
Two adventures in one. Enjoy the beauty of the Salmon area from the
saddle on an easy walking trail or while chasing down some wily cattle
on a real working ranch roundup. Follow it up with a thrilling ride
on the "River of no Return" the next day with great guides
and delicious food. No prior experience is necessary. Includes one
day of whitewater rafting, one day of horseback riding, local transportation,
3 nights lodging at the Greyhouse Inn Bed & Breakfast, and all
meals from dinner night one to breakfast before you leave.
